Terms of Service

Remy offers a referral program where both the referrer and the referred user receive temporary access to Remy Plus features when a new user signs up via a referral link and confirms their email address. Each user may only be referred once.

The specific duration and features granted through the referral program may change at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice to users.

Our AI analyzes newsletter content to create summaries. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated summaries may not perfectly capture all nuances of the original content.

You understand that summaries are automated interpretations and should not be considered as a substitute for reading original newsletters when complete accuracy is required.

The Remy service, including its design, functionality, and original content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Newsletter content processed by our service remains the property of the original publishers. Our service creates summaries for your personal use only.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or for operational reasons with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, we will delete your personal data according to our data retention policies outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Remy Plus is offered as a recurring subscription billed via a third-party payment processor (currently Stripe). By starting a subscription you authorize us (and our processor) to charge the subscription fee at the start of each Subscription Term until cancellation.

Fees are quoted exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable VAT or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout based on jurisdiction.

If we offer a trial or promotional period, the length and conditions will be stated at sign-up. At the end of any trial, billing begins automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

You may cancel renewal at any time through your account or by contacting support. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid Subscription Term; access then reverts to the Free Plan (if available).

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide partial period refunds. In the event of a confirmed, material service outage exceeding 48 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance), we may, at our discretion, apply a credit to your next billing period.

Upgrades take effect immediately with a pro-rated charge for the remainder of the current Subscription Term (if supported by our billing provider). Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date unless otherwise stated.

We may adjust plan pricing or included features. For active paid subscriptions, price changes take effect at the next renewal following at least 30 days' prior notice.

If you believe there is a billing error, you must notify us within 30 days of the charge by emailing hello@remyreads.nl with details. We will investigate in good faith. Failure to notify within this window may waive your right to dispute the charge (except where prohibited by law).

We continually improve the Service and may add, modify, or remove features. For changes that materially reduce core paid functionality, we will provide reasonable advance notice and the option to cancel before the change takes effect.
